Mission Statement
We meet twice a month in a private meeting room at the Rochester Public Library and at Mount Olive Lutheran Church.
We welcome any person 18 or older who is transgender, non-binary, or questioning their gender.
Our goal is to provide a safe space for those in our community who need support, validation, advice, and answers to any questions involving transition (social, medical, or otherwise). We want to build a strong community in the face of discrimination and adversity. We believe that your experience is valid, no matter where you identify on the gender spectrum.
Meet Our Facilitators
Adrian Rowley
They/He
Hi! My name is Adrian. I joined this group in 2019, and it really helped me with my transition journey. Getting to meet other trans and non-binary people made me feel safer and showed me that I wasn't alone. Ari and I started facilitating this group in 2023. It's been so awesome to be a part of providing that same support I recieved to new people over the years.
In my spare time I love being outside with my family and watching terrible movies.
Ari Will
They/Them
Hello! My name is Ari, and I joined the group in 2018. In it, I found a community that helped me gain confidence in myself and my identity, and supported me through my transition. After the group hit pause because of COVID-19, Adrian and I jumped on the chance to restart it as facilitators. I am proud to be part of this community of incredible, supportive people.
In my free time, I like spending time with my four cats, playing video games, reading sci-fi, and painting/sewing/crafting.
